Project Leader (serial activity)

Your responsibilities:

    Autoliv, a world leader in the development and production of automotive safety systems, is currently looking to fill the role of a Project Leader in the Seatbelt Value
Engineering/Value Analysis Group (VEVA) at our Brasov facility.  

   The role entails the responsibility to identify, plan and implement VEVA projects that create value, eliminate waste, and reduce cost.  

  The ideal candidate will drive reductions through new product designs, serial product enhancements, process improvements, and cost reduction activities.  

   Other value and cost reduction approaches include optimization studies, benchmarking, vertical integration and make/buy comparisons.
   The successful candidate will lead, facilitate, or support a cross-functional team (CFT) including customer groups, R&D, operations, procurement, and quality.
   The Project Leader must be a self-directed, results oriented professional that has a “take charge” attitude for delivering results while meeting project deadlines.

Duties/Responsibilities:

    Create and manage project budget.Organize CFT activities, develop plans / timing and detailed task list to support project implementation.
    Maintain detailed open issues list and lead the CFT through the implementation.
    Coordinate tasks and define priority for cross-functional team members.Inform the management on project status and risks.
    Develop customer presentations and communicate with customer teams to support the change initiative.
    Ensure successful / timely launches at customer and Autoliv assembly facilities by coordinating resources.
