Accounts Payable Specialist

AVON Romania is seeking a proactive and smart Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance department. He or she will be responsible for accurate processing of invoices and will ensure timely response of all operations queries as well as conducting process improvement.

You will make a difference because you will:
Process domestic suppliers bills and resolve specific situations for compliance assurance on a daily basis;
Check the supporting documentation to be in accordance with the fiscal rules an internal policies;
Support audits and fiscal inspections with the specific are expertise;
Support the month end close and record accruals, adjustments, corrections and reclassification;
Provide controls for processed records in order to assure the best accuracy;
Ensure that specific balance sheet reconciliations are done with accuracy on a monthly basis.

The profile we look for:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Finance (preferably in accounts payable);
Specific Tax knowledge will be considered a plus;
English proficiency;
Good skills in MS Office;
Attention to details and strong analytical skills;
Ability to solve urgent matters and respect deadlines;
Ability to work under pressure;
Reliable, proactive approach to entrusted task;
Good communication and development skills;
Must be a friendly individual, a good team player and able to communicate easily with other departments;
