Cloud Services - Cloud Level 2 Support Engineer (Vmware Linux Windows)

• Advanced VMware vSphere/ESX configuration and administration skills in medium to large enterprise environments.
• Advanced Linux administration skills.
• Solid Windows Server administration skills.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts.
• Experience with IT Security Compliance.
• Experience with system management/monitoring tools.
• Experience with operating systems services (NTP, DNS, SMTP).
• Experience writing medium complexity scripts in at least one language: Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby, Batch, PowerShell, etc.
• Experience providing support in medium to large scale infrastructure environments and using ticketing systems.
• General understanding of ITIL/IT Service Management concepts.
• Very good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

• Managing VMware hypervisors and guests running on a worldwide enterprise cloud.
• Interacting and working with both internal and external customers on issue resolution and new on-boardings.
• Performing system administration activities on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or Windows Server.
• Managing systems to corporate compliance policies.
• Administering and supporting cloud provisioning automation tools.

• Experience with OpenStack.
• Professional certifications (e.g. RHCE, RHCSA, ITIL Foundation).
