Release manager

Technical Requirements:

• At least one of the following: GIT, CVS, SVN at admin level

• Experience with billing platforms (BSCS) is a definite plus

• Establish standardized Release Management policies and procedures
• Manage release planning and scheduling for the overall release schedule, as well as for individual releases
• Establish and manage release documentation and identification schema
• Manage the release design, build, and configuration processes
• Release testing
• Rollout planning including quality plans and back-out plans
• Release communication, preparation and training
• Manage the successful roll out/distribution of all elements of a release
• Document each release and update the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
• Setup the software development environments within the source control tools/systems (GIT)
• Build and release the software packages
• Train, mentor and support software development tools with regards to the software configuration management practices
• Setup build environments for software projects
• Continuously improve methods and way of working in the organization
