We are looking for a Web Developer to join our Software Development team supporting Oracle Global Recruiting. In this role you will work closely with the Recruitment Branding and Recruiting Operations teams. Your responsibilities will vary, but the main focus will be on developing new websites for Oracle hiring campaigns and front end development for the internal applications used within Recruiting.


Essential Job Responsibilities

- Build new websites for recruiting campaigns
- Design and implement solutions for our corporate website
- Provide website maintenance and enhancements
- Create quality mockups and prototypes
- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Work Experience & Job Specific Competencies

- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree with at least 2+ years of work experience;
- Experience developing with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
- Experience with Bootstrap and AngularJS
- Proficient in Java IDEs preferably JDeveloper or Netbeans
- Experience with Web Services – Oracle Weblogic Server or any Application Server
- Experience with Task Runner such as Grunt or Gulp
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
- Knowledge of usability and accessibility principles, cross-browser compatibility, web security and HTML document architecture
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them
- Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git or SVN
- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- Able to maintain absolute discretion regarding confidential and / or sensitive information;
- Good verbal and written communication skills, fluent English;
