Data Ware House Developer

Our client is a Bucharest-based company providing expert-level consultancy services to different partners across Europe, with a higher focus on Banking, Finance and Telecom industries.

We are looking for a Data Ware House Developer to keep pace with the high volume and complex changes that such a fast passed business handles every day.

Their main objective is to support customers throughout the entire business lifecycle – both projects and daily operations – by direct engagement in the internal processes and activities, as well as by providing consultancy and advisory services on dedicated topics within our area of expertise.

Requirements:
- University degree in IT / Economic area;
- Detailed knowledge of BI/DWH design, and data integration patterns - minimum 2 years of experience required;
- Advanced SQL and PLSQL knowledge;
- ODI knowledge, Java is a plus;
- Experience with source system data analysis and in working with big data volumes;
- Knowledge about banking and banking industry (previous experience in Banking or Financial institution - preferred);
- English – fluent.

Responsibilities:
- Supports the customer in preparing the effort estimations for the development activities required, based on the initial technical analysis results and the overall solution knowledge;
- Contributes with feed-back within the business and technical analysis phase, highlighting roadblocks, issues and proposing solution;
- Defines the requirements implementation concept in line with the customer’s internal standard and with the existing IT architecture;
- Ensures the timely delivery of the requirements’ development and the corresponding documentation required by the customers;
- Supports the testing of the requirements in line with the standard policies during all the defined phase (FAT, UAT);
- Provides the required updates on the progress, as well as the internal reporting activities agreed.
