Infrastructure Architect Unix/Windows (relocation to Bulgaria)

Our client is a leading provider of IT Outsourcing and Consulting Services in CEE (Central and Eastern Europe), with more than 400 employees, delivering services in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania and Slovakia, having representative offices in Ukraine.

Currently, we are looking for an Infrastructure architect/Senior Sysadmin (Unix/Windows) who is willing to relocate to Sofia (Bulgaria) and join one of our client’s partners- one of the world's largest technology company with an extensive portfolio of printing, personal computing and software services and IT infrastructure creating seamless, secure and context-aware experiences for a connected
world used by millions of people every day.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or electrical engineering or equivalent
• Fluent English
• Experience in:
◦ data-center design
◦ infrastructure
◦ migration
◦ business case development
◦ In-depth knowledge in two or more Data Center core technologies (Windows (Microsoft Core), Unix,Database, Middleware, Storage, BUR, VMware, HP Hardware, etc.. )
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing technical solutions or services
• Experience in large-scale transformation and migration projects
• Has sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across a number of technologies.
• Infrastructure technology knowledge, ability to analyse customer needs
• Customer facing experience
• In-depth knowledge of project’s life-cycle
• Excellent understanding of ITSM/ITIL framework and processes
• Excellent knowledge of IT Operations, infrastructure services support (Systems NT, UX, Storage, Backups,DB’s or Network management), operations monitoring and end user support.

Responsibilities:

• End to End responsibility for technical content of deliverables produced by Global Engineering & Technical Consulting (GE&TC) – DCS & Cloud
• Translate functional requirements to technical requirements
• Promote standardization and automation during transformation in T&T engagements
• Ensure developed solutions are aligned with engineering repositories (Playbooks, CMR) and Portfolio websites/repositories (What we sell, EG Portfolio portals).
• Ensure that existing deliverables/templates are leveraged to satisfy new work request
• Ensure applicable content standards are met
• Ensure peer review deliverables are logged in
• Store engineering related collateral in approved configuration management repository
• Integrate and collaborate with other organizations/resources (other teams, vendors, suppliers, customers) during engineering life cycle
• Thought Leadership / Technical Point Of Contact for project teams.
• Produces High Level Design and approve Low Level Designs for end to end coherency.
• Ensure the successful delivery of the required detailed solution designs (LLD) based on client requirements and project schedule.
• Support Hand-over to production of implemented solutions
• Support the PMs in defining Work Packages, Deliverables, Engineers Teams, WBS, and also address issues, mitigate risks and cross coordinate engineer teams

• Presales consultancy to Solution Leads
• Onboarding
• High Level Design completion and sign-off
• Solution None Standard Service Requests
• Solution owner during implementation
• Service Initiation Form
• Handover Helion Managed Cloud (HMC) design to HMCO

For Private Cloud

• End to end ownership of the global solution, including involvement of third parties (i.e.TS, PSO)
• For an hybrid customer, ensure global coherence of the architecture
• Act as global technical contact (across client/TS and PSO)
• Collate all needed technical elements to allow TS to start the Cloudsystem matrix
• Coordinate the set-up of the solution from a technical perspective
• Customer UAT and Sign-off
• Lead the testing and move to production till Cloud Operation acceptance
• Inclusion into steady state documentation of all the technical designs and consulting performed
