• Experience in web trading application for:
1. Presentation – the client-facing web app and UX design
2. Distribution - streaming prices and pre-trade information
3. Web trading services providing all the execution, pricing and workflow that real-time trading needs
4. Integration - interfacing to trading, permissioning , pricing and information systems

• Working closely with designers or user experience analysts to bring mock-ups, or wireframes, from development to delivery
• Should have experience of working with global teams and be comfortable building relationships with internal or external clients
• Strong core Java 1.7/1.8 (including concurrency and multithreading)
• Front end: HTML 5, JavaScript , CSS, Node JS, Angular JS and Knockout
• Frameworks: Spring (IoC, AOP, JDBC, JMS, Testing, Spring MVC), Hibernate
• J2EE API (JMS, JMX), Tomcat7
• Web service: REST and Axis2
• TDD framework in Java experience with mocking frameworks like Mockito/ JMock / JBehave / Cucumber / Selenium
• Experience using relational databases (SQL) Oracle and H2
• Unix/Linux experience
• Other: Maven, SVN, GIT and continuous integration (Jenkins or Team City)
• Experience of the Caplin Trader 4 technology, architecture and test automation frameworks
• Agile development practices using JIRA

Desired Skills:
• Experience of Linux Yum and RPM
• MQ Messaging – Tibco FTL, IBM MQ or Zero MQ
• JSON and XML Transformation
• Understanding of Common/modern browsers (includes headless browsers) that run front-end code and cross browser testing

A consistent record of successful software delivery projects implementing front-end and server-based java applications, with experience of applying agile processes across the full development lifecycle.

Business Experience:
• Experience in understanding Functional Design/Requirement and able to formulate those to Technical Design/Documentation
• Experience in working in investment banking and have understanding of Trading Methodologies (preferable FX) and business terminology is desirable.
