Education and Experience Required:

· First level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience.

· Typically 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst.

Description

The Complex Process Financial Analyst (CPFA) will provide financial information, reporting & analysis to Account Finance Team (AFT) managing accuracy & compliancy of specific complex financial transactions across ES account teams in EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

Controls & manages end to end financial processes focusing on complex processes in support of AFT teams, including although not limited to performing P&L & Balance Sheet reconciliation in support of month end close & forecasting cycles
Provides financial information, reporting & analysis to AFT teams
Understands & applies Accounting Policies and Procedures as well as relevant COMPASS Business Processes
Ensures timeliness of processing activities to meet deadlines including accounting closes & forecasting deadlines
Ensures quality transactions can be processed, maximizing the use of COMPASS to limit manual journal entries outside of COMPASS
Acts as an advisor & consultant to the AFT team on complex cost/expense financial processes, progress & issues, providing early visibility of potential problems
Assists AFT teams with Audit Readiness and SOX Compliance activities
Provides Business Decision Support & all relevant financial information to AFT to enable appropriate business decisions to be made
Provides all of the above across EDS SAP, Compass legacy and FMO Compass.
