Senior Accountant with English

Our client is a leading South-Korean company that produces cutting edge electronic devices. On behalf of our client we are currently hiring accounting specialists for a new shared service center.

Requirements:

- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in accounting or finance with
a) 2-3 years of experience
b) Experience with SAP is required
c) Proficiency in MS office (mainly Excel)
- Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance with
a) 4—7 years of accounting work experience or
b) 3+ years as a qualified Chartered Accountant (CECCAR, CAT or ACCA)

- English proficiency is mandatory
- Fluency in additional foreign language is an asset
- Analytical skills and attention to details
- Ability to communicate professionally with people internally and externally
- Problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced environment

Perform accounting tasks according to month and year end closing schedule (allocations, accruals, reclassifications, FX valuation, reporting)
Provide inputs requested by auditors
Prepare compliance documentation
Perform accounting tasks according to month and year end closing schedule, including investigation of potential issues, errors or deviations
Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions for the subsidiaries aligned
Coordinate the closing cycle with team members and colleagues, ensure adherence to deadlines and work procedures
Interact and comply with all internal / external audit requirements
Interpret accounting changes communicated by the group or Subsidiaries and inform/coach team members on how changes apply
Update the working procedures periodically;
Comply with internal controls and policies
Support the SSC manager in achieving the process objectives
Provide accounting training and mentoring for junior members
