The job requires advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems. The Endpoint Security Team delivers the security client offered by Bitdefender.

-The Endpoint Security Team delivers tailored security solutions to Business clients, in compliance with their specific needs. The Bitdefender technologies are integrated in one sole product, operated and managed with the help of a console. Components such as firewall, content control, real-time protection, active threat detection, device control, application control are integrated to form a functional product, while at the same time responding to another challenge: getting the necessary statistics and reports to our business customers.

-The security client is offered as a SDK (Software Development KIT) to Bitdefender’s external integrators, and is operational through the management consoles of the integrators.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years in C/C++ on Microsoft platforms;
• Knowledge in areas such as multi-threading, inter-process communication, synchronization primitives, debugging (Visual Studio/ WinDbg);
• Application & code design (architecture, design patterns);
• Experience with source code control and issue management tools;
• Eager to learn;
• Very organized;
• Enthusiast;
• Willing to act as mentor for the team members on specific technical areas.


Will be considered a plus:
• network programming (sockets, synchronous/asynchronous communication)
• scripting – python

• You will develop product modules and integrate technologies provided by other teams;
• You will act as consultant when defining modules’ architecture, as subject matter expert when reviewing your team’s code, as mentor when you’re being asked for help, as team member the rest of the time;
• You will propose improvements in modules’ architecture;
