Requirements:

University degree in computer science or in a related domain.
At least two years in a similar position.
Knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL Server, replication, mirroring, back-ups, PL/SQL, T-SQL, BI tools, DWH concepts, etc
Would be an advantage: web-servers & application servers.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring and scheduling of jobs, night jobs, backups, replication, data transfers, mirroring, performance, capacity and system health;
Administrate database servers, deploy changes, make necessary configurations.
Second line support for applications.
Problem analysis and solution for production related issues.
In charge with maintaining and enforcing security guidelines.
Responsible for the high availability of the systems.
