Senior IT Specialist

ALTEN Romania, part of the international ALTEN Group - with a unique position as Leader in IT & Engineering Consulting, provides support for its clients’ development strategies in the fields of innovation, R&D and IT systems since 1996. The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

ï‚· System administration skills on Linux (or similar) systems
ï‚· Proven experience with networking technologies: TCP/IP and TCP/IP based services
ï‚· Scripting knowledge (ex: Unix/Linux shell, Perl); regexp is a plus
ï‚· Very good experience with general IT environment (user desktop environment, backup solutions, etc.…)
ï‚· Considered as a significant plus — relevant experience in (a) security (b) visualization (c) complex networks or (d) large/niche computing platforms (minimum one of the above is mandatory)

ï‚· Design, implementation and support services as part of IT Projects or specific IT tasks
ï‚· Installation/configuration/delivery/troubleshooting/technical communication/technical documentation
ï‚· Configuration, scripts development
ï‚· Customer facing activities: technical planning, services delivery, technical communication, technical demos.

ï‚· Able to communicate at sufficient technical levels and detail any steps taken to reproduce a problem
ï‚· Strong communication skills and experience interacting with other teams throughout product life cycles
ï‚· Technical writing skills.
