QA Automation Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:
• 1 - 3 years hands on testing experience (writing, maintaining and executing test cases);
• Familiarity with Agile processes and terminology;
• Knowledge of QA testing processes, methodologies and tools;
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Concepts – C# (.NET) preferable
• Experience performing automated testing is required;
• Web application testing experience preferred;
• Experience with automated keyword or behavior driven (BDD) testing frameworks such as Selenium or equivalent;
• Knowledge of web infrastructure and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, proxy servers);
• Ability to write and understand basic SQL queries to perform data verification and set up test data;
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, Jscript, VBScript or other scripting languages).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Creating and executing manual tests for Web applications;
• Creating and executing automated functional, performance and regression tests;
• Reporting testing status and progress against the testing plan to the project team or QA Lead;
• Plan, design, develop and execute test frameworks in order to optimize the test cases automation;
• Performing verification testing on bug fixes.

• Analyzes requirements and is able to identify test scenarios;
• Willingness and ability to work side by side with development project teams throughout the project cycle;
• Great attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills;
• The confidence to ask the tough questions necessary to ensure continuous improvement;
• Time Management.


WILL BE A PLUS:
• Browser testing ( IE, Safari, Chrome, Firefox);
• Programming experience in C#, using Visual Studio
• ISTQB Certification.
