Java Software Developer

The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

Technical Requirements:

- A higher education in Computer Science or comparable knowledge through professional experience;
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in software development with an emphasis on Java EE/Spring;
- We love technology, so we have quite a big technological stack ‐ knowledge of and/or experience with the following topics is relevant:
- o Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Python, PHP or other OOP languages also relevant
- o Markup: XML, XSD, XSLT, HTML, CSS
- o Web UI: JSTL, Servlets, JavaScript;
- o Development environment: Jenkins, IntelliJ or Eclipse, Maven, JUnit, Jboss;
- o Hibernate, Liquibase, Play! Framework, Dropwizard
- o Familiar with tools like Jenkins, Vagrant etc.;
- o Web Services (SOAP, REST)
- o Databases: SQL, NoSQL flavors
- o Version Control: Git, SVN, CVS
- o Test driven design, automated testing and continuous integration

Project Description:
Join us in Timisoara/Romania and, using Agile methodology, you will contribute to the development of a web-based platform which offers a variety of payment processing solutions based on a “pay as you use� delivery model.

Job Responsibilities

- Participate in analyzing and estimating new products and projects;
- Develop applications based on user stories;
- Prepare demo sessions for the stakeholders;
- Work closely with QA to build qualitative web applications;
- Help in preparing documentation on the software that was developed.

Job location: Timisoara (relocation package for non Timisoara – Residence).
