    Requirements

    Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of WPF .Net
    • Messaging Technology and Tools: JMS or comparable low latency systems
    • Experience with SOAP, Web Services
    • Database Technologies: Oracle and Sybase, SQL and PL/SQL
    • Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting, and basic systems administration skills (utilities, commands, editors, basic investigation)
    • Knowledge of C++ beneficial.
    • Knowledge of Perl Scripting beneficial.
    • Experience of working in a team development environment as well as globally distributed project team
    • Experience in source code management, continuous build and integration technologies and hands-on experience with resp. tools, e.g. Perforce/Subversion/GIT, Maven, Hudson/Jenkins, ANT, Eclipse IDE
    • Demonstrable knowledge of application design patterns.
    • Java (J2SE), Spring knowledge – desirable.

    Experience and Education
    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in computer science or software engineering - (or equivalent diploma/work experience)
    • 5+ years of work experience in IT
    • 3+ years of application developer experience

    Responsibilities

    Project description

    GLM is mandated to market funding products with a two year or less tenor, provide unsecured and secured financing for Deutsche Bank Group as well as provide recourse and non-recourse financing for clients. This includes provision of collateral management services to both internal and external clients and derivatives funding management for CB&S. The GLM product suite encompasses money markets, government and credit repos, and exchange traded futures and options. GT supports this mandate through the trading systems Kondor+, Magellan and WMS, as well as pricing application Dealerboard and Risk system Score. The Bucharest team will be responsible for the strategic roadmap of the critical trading applications of Kondor+ and Magellan and the Collateral trading tool WMS. These applications have a footprint of approximately 500 users each in multiple locations globally.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Attract and retain a high performing team of 10-12 people to support the GT functions of development, QA, release management, functional analysis and architecture for 3 applications.
    • Gain in depth knowledge of current state technologies and processes.
    • Partner on-shore management to drive out target state architecture, technologies roadmap.
    • Review, refine and standardize software development processes (SDLC and Agile) to optimize engagement with key stakeholders in Singapore, London, Frankfurt and New York.
    • ITAO-D responsibility for Kondor+, Magellan and WMS.
    • Provide thought leadership and technical coaching and supervision to the technologists within the team.
    • Provide supervision and be accountable for the SDLC of the applications supported by the team
