For our client, a German chain of coffee retailers and cafes, also known for its weekly-changing range of other products (clothing, household items, electronics and electrical appliances), we are recruiting a shop assistant on a full time schedule.

The mission of this role is to assist clients in finding the right products suited to their needs.

Requirements:

What you need to demonstrate

- High-school degree;
- Relevant experience in a similar position in a shop;
- Experience in retail/hospitality (including use of bar-code machine and card swiping machine);
- Positive problem solving and proactive attitude;
- Dynamic with a strong interest in fashion;
- Willing to work in varying shifts and extended store hours;
- Excellent public relation skills;
- Strong calculative and mathematical abilities.

What you will be doing

- Handle goods, product placement, replenish shelves according to VM rules, price labeling, and product alarm setting;
- Operate POS system, ensure proper payment process and use of payment machines;
- Maintain tidiness and cleanliness in sales area and storage room.
