IT Support Consultant

Minimum qualification will be an MSc (Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering)
Interest in finance and financial technologies
Minimum 1 year experience in Operating Systems (Windows and Solaris)
Minimum 1 year experience with Network installation, management and monitoring
Impeccable standard of spoken and written English
Oracle knowledge and experience is desirable
Some development experience is desirable

As a consultant you will need to understand both the product as well as the financial instruments that are being recorded with the aid of the product.
You will be involved in helping our clients utilise the product in order to obtain the results they desire: be it trade workflows, financial instruments’ prices, risk indicators, etc.
You will be in contact with our clients on a daily basis providing them with knowledge and know how as well as with other divisions within the company representing client needs.
The Technical Consultant is responsible for client implementations. He/She will also provide support to existing clients and manage complex issues around the integration of the solution.
Acting as a business expert, he/she will run demonstrations and manage workshops to present the architecture scalability, performance and integration capabilities of our solutions. Delivering training and providing consultancy activities will also be part of his/her responsibilities.
Communicate with clients to help define detailed requirements for the implementation
Provide advice for tuning, optimisation and monitoring of the architecture
Prepare demonstrations, workshops and training sessions and deliver them onsite at clients
Provide onsite consultancy services
