Engineer Back Office - RAN

Main requirements:

- University Degree: Electronics and Telecommunication Faculty, Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science
- GSM/UMTS /LTE technologies advanced knowledge
- 2-3 years of previous operations and support experience in Telecommunication industry
- Hands-on experience on RAN Huawei nodes (BSC, RNC, NodeB, eNodeB, BTS) from main vendors: Ericsson, Huawei, NSN. Huawei is a plus
- Analyze and interpret traces (protocol analyzer traces and network element traces)
- Good Knowledge of the English language
- Hungarian language is a plus

Role:

Operate and maintain our client’s voice, data and value added services in order to reach the established business goals per company.

Responsibilities:

- Provide 2nd level maintenance and restoration for the Radio Access Network (RAN) for 2G, 3G and LTE technologies
- Perform detail alarm analysis on the RAN (2G, 3G and LTE) network
- Investigate and summarize critical technical fault for the RAN network
- Provide incident report on the technical fault for the RAN network
- Investigate customer complaint and resolution
- Prepare restoration plan for incident of disaster
- Escalate problem to vendor support and cooperate to resolve problem
- Tracing and debugging on various equipment
- Manages high risk operations
- Executes preventive maintenance activities
- Daily monitoring of the network’s performance indicators
- Participates in internal and external trainings in order to improve technical skills
- Trains new employees when necessary
