Mandatory skills
- Good in analytic, problem solving and collaborative skills.
- Strong hands on experience on Cognos 8.x/Cognos 10.x tools like Report studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio, Metric Studio. Should have experience on design, development and deployment the different types of Reports and Dashboards.
- Should have experience on implementing various reporting features like drill through, master detail reports, templates and present in different formats.
- Should have experience in writing SQL queries.
- Experience in report migration projects and migrating Cognos environment across different versions.
- Should have knowledge on Framework Manager to build model for Ad-hoc reporting.
- Knowledge of DB2.
- Communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Creating, enhancing and maintaining Framework Manager models (Meta-data Model), (Relational & DMR Model), Table Manager 1 (TM1).
- Work with business users to design and develop Cognos reports.
- Unit Testing (Develop and implement test plans to ensure successful delivery of a project).
- Troubleshoot the Reports and Models.
