•Extensive experience administrating one or more of the following platforms:
-Linux RedHat, Suse, Debian, CentOS
-Good understanding & experience with storage technologies.
-Experience with high-availability design
-Experience working with IP networking, networking protocols and understanding of security related technologies including encryption, IPsec, PKI, VPNs, firewalls, proxy services, DNS and access-lists
•Experience with Backup software and strategies.
•Nice to have:
-Understanding of Change Management frameworks such as ITIL.
-Experience with Flex Systems & Storwize V7000.
-Familiarity with network infrastructure (LAN/WAN).
-Knowledge and understanding of network applications, web
servers, email servers, firewalls, databases, file shares and
print server

•Ensure server availability compliance to Service Level
Agreements.
•Perform system administration and management functions for
Microsoft Windows Server, Unix, Linux.
•Provide Level 2 server operating system support.
•Configure hardware, services, settings, directories, storage,
etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational
requirements.
•Promote and maintain server patch management practices.
•Provide metrics for capacity management purposes.
•Support and maintain IT infrastructure.
•Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting.
•Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining detailed and comprehensive documentation and diagrams. Maintain expert level of knowledge in area of expertise.
