IT Business Analyst (Dating Industry)

You can be their new colleague if you have the following skills:

• Good understanding of social and dating networks
• Minimum of 4-7 years of applicable experience in Business/System Analytics
• Process design and / or Data Analysis skills
• Previous experience in dating industry is a plus but not required
• IT degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience
• Proven ability to lead project work efforts and coordinate activity across multiple teams and geographies
• Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
• Able to communicate clearly in English, eager to further your knowledge and the knowledge of the team as a whole
• Ability to work unsupervised and to use initiative
• Competent working on timescales and deadlines

One of our clients is a unique dating network, one of Switzerland's most successful technology businesses with major offices in Los Angeles, Bratislava, Yerevan, Bucharest, Amsterdam and Nice. Their talented and motivated team of experts, as well as newcomers, forms the basis of their success.

They are currently expanding their team in Bucharest with an IT Business Analyst, the role being a new position that recognizes the need to provide coherent business justification for changes and clear specifications for their products.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business team to define strategies for technical solutions
• Research, analyze information, evaluate existing systems and understand their structure
• Determine requirements and develop functional designs and specifications (Functional specification, Use Cases) based on the analysis of line of business needs and objectives for development team
• Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs and that test plans and scripts serve customer needs
• Project planning, administration, and control to meet business cost, time, and quality
• Work under minimal supervision on projects requiring creative solutions
