    Requirements

    - First level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.

    - Typically 2-4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function.



    Knowledge and Skills Required

    - Strong understanding of procurement processes, industry, and suppliers.

    - Strong analytical skills.

    - Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint) and supply chain modeling skills. Strong knowledge and use of procurement tools and applications.

    - Strong communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities. Basic Project Management Skills. Basic ability to develop suppliers

    - Strong teamwork and basic leadership skills; basic influencing skills.

    - Mastery in English and local language

    - mandatory skills: Czech or Slovakian language

    - Ability to create a contract using standard HP contract templates with supervision. Applies cause and effect thinking to identify common contract risk areas. Capable of applying prepackaged contract solutions to obtain acceptable outcomes. Solid understanding of fundamental contracting principles.

    - Good understanding of HP business units and HP business strategy.

    - Excellent cultural knowledge of supplier locations

    Responsibilities

    Join the Global Procurement Team at the heart of the business driving value for HP. The Contingent Labor Team leads, develops and implements strategic supplier & commodity management to support Contingent Labor Services for HP Internal and Services requirements. Effective sourcing of 3rd Party Labor Technology Services directly impacts the bottom line.

    You'll be responsible for driving the implementation of all procurement processes and strategies within CL team with main focus on EMEA, especially Czech and Slovakia, meeting and wherever possible exceeding targets for cost savings, supplier performance, and customer satisfaction. You will ensure the business gets what it needs at the right value and

    commercial level because you have constructed the right commercial deal. The challenges vary in scale from leadership of cross functional teams, leadership of global commodity strategies, and leading complex supplier negotiations. This Individual Contributor (IC) role will be responsible for implementing category strategies for Infrastructure and Application Services by engaging 3rd party labor suppliers and driving results for HP.




    This role will provide the successful applicant with a diverse and fast paced set of challenges, in a dynamic and impactful area of the business supporting the fast growing markets in Eastern Europe. For Czech and Slovakia >70% of total GTS spend (100m$) is in Public Sector and requires local language.     Primary responsibilities include:

    * Implement global strategies for Contingent Labor domains (focus: Application & Infrastructure Services)

    * Negotiate complex/contentious/difficult deals and deliver results in terms of value

    * Review all procurement requests for contractual conformance & compliance in accordance with established requirements

    * Implements stakeholder management strategies

    * Act as an "advocate for change" and assist in management of change issues with stakeholders and suppliers

    * Foster close relationships within the Global Procurement community, networking to 1) identify opportunities for needs consolidation and demand management to be incorporated into a global procurement strategy; and 2) gain information on standards, roadmaps, marketing direction, etc to ensure alignment with Global Procurement strategies

    * Influence senior management and other key stakeholders to ensure sponsorship of procurement strategies and successful execution of plans

    * Maintain industry specific knowledge

    * Ensure that established business control standards are applied to all engagements

    * Operate in fast-paced environment chartered with managing a multitude of diverse and complex procurement projects

    * Considers how present policies, processes, and methods might be affected by future developments and trends and alter procurement strategies with suppliers accordingly.

    * Manage and develop ASL and non ASL suppliers and respective supplier relationships
