Technical knowledge:
- Server Administration: Microsoft Windows, Linux, VMware
- Client Administration: Windows 7 (Advanced)
- Application maintenance: Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, Jira , Microsoft SC Operations Manager, Nagios
- Networking: Cisco networking, subnets, routing, access control lists, security, firewalls and network traffic analysis
- Experience with PowerShell is a plus or to be certified : CCNA, MCSA, RHCE/RHCSA, LPIC, etc;

Interpersonal skills:
- Good communication and team player
- Ability to learn new products and technologies
- Proactive and self-motivated

Language skills:
- English – mandatory
- German – could be an advantage

He has to safe guard the efficient and cost-saving usage of IT infrastructure in line with the defined IT standards. He has to pay special attention to a preferred usage of IT standard products (hardware/software) and the observation of the Information Security rules.

Tasks:

- Handling of all information security topics in the role of the Information Security Support
- Asset maintenance in the Asset-Management tool, management of licenses
- Users’ first contact and advisor for IT infrastructure topics
- Ordering of IT equipment; preparation for the installation
- Supporting the request for processes, user accounts, user profiles and software installations
- Maintenance of virtual infrastructure
