Hewlett Packard’s Global Procurement Organization (GP), with over 900 employees in 52 countries, is one of the largest indirect and service procurement organizations in the world. Considered one of the most innovative global functions of its kind, GP looks beyond traditional procurement for ways to drive even greater value for HP. This includes helping the businesses generate increased revenue, driving innovation with strategic suppliers and doing the right thing for HP’s customers and employees with respect to corporate and social responsibility. We procure everything from technology (such as hardware, software, and telecommunications) to marketing, outside labor, facilities and business services - basically anything that HP purchases in order to do business internally and in support of our outsourced services clients.

Key Responsibilities
Our program is designed to mentor and develop talented individuals with strong leadership potential and strategic thinking capability. GP is a world class procurement organization responsible for spend in non-production goods and services. If you have the ability to work in a global, virtual environment, creating value though utilization of procurement, business and financial expertise, GP's intern program may be right for you. We are looking for energetic, highly motivated individuals who are working to complete a Bachelor's level (or equivalent) degree. GP wants people who can bring innovative ideas and fresh perspectives into our organization. Interns will be assigned challenging positions and projects, providing procurement knowledge and expertise to professionals spanning HP's business groups and functions.
