IT PROJECT MANAGER

Vienna Insurance Group Management Service SRL (VIG MS) is the group owned IT Service provider for all Romanian entities (Asirom, BCR Life Insurance and Omniasig) of Vienna Insurance Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred;
• Proven experience, at least 3 years’ experience in a project management role, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector;
• Technical certifications/diplomas for relevant fields represent an advantage (PMP certifications and technical certifications);
• Good understanding of software development life cycle and current IT trends;
• Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, organizational and time management skills;
• Results and customer orientation;
• Openness to change;
• Initiative and proactive attitude;
• Ability to meet stretch deadlines;
• English language -advanced level

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates project activities by directly supervising the consultants and collaborators involved;
• Establishes long-term collaborative relationships with project partners and beneficiaries;
• Prepares the budget of the project in accordance with the proposal submitted, with the activities planned to be carried out within the project, ensuring the necessary resources;
• Establish the management structure (procedural framework) for the project in question;
• Organizes and carries out project-related activities (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and control);
• Prepares the project execution program;
• Prepare detailed work plans and monitor their implementation;
• Monitor over time the progress achieved towards the proposed objectives and draw up monthly reports to stakeholders in accordance with the data set out in the contracts;
• Ensures the flow of information within the project and for other departments of the organization, organizing regular meetings with the project team and presenting the project to other departments;
• Ensures the solution of the problems encountered in the realization of the project and informs in time the management team about the problems encountered and which it cannot solve at its level;
• Carries out the analysis of the causes of the problems, of the process of solving them and of the conflicts appeared;
• Provides support for case building and / or business requirements;
• Identifies problems and makes proposals to improve business processes within the organization;
• Manages the relationship, communication, and expectations of stakeholders throughout the project life cycle;
