How do you know you are the right fit



Education/ Training:

ACCA or other international certified Accountant diploma is required

University degree with proven ability in relevant subjects (e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Studies)

Solid accounting background with accounting certification preferred

Professional experience:

Minimum 3-4 years experience in General Ledger complex accounting process in similar, multi-national, corporate environment

Very Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, regulations and procedures, IFRS and/ or local GAAP

Written and verbal communication skills to share accounting information when needed

Technical skills and experience using accounting software

Languages: English (professional, written and spoken)

Other: Availability to travel, involvement in Eon Group Projects

What will you do



You are primarily responsible for closing and reporting tasks, delivering information, providing support to senior and junior clerks. You should be capable of performing your tasks independently and escalating issues to the Team Lead when necessary. Additionally, you will act as a key user, being involved in process improvements, transition projects, and other existing projects at the group level. You will also be responsible for your own personal development and increasing overall accounting knowledge, following the operational KPIs in place

Ensure financial records comply with regulatory standards; analyze accounting and financial data to provide recommendations

Analyze the postings on the P&L and BS accounts and perform corrections

Analyze the accounting data according to IFRS requirements; strong understanding of IFRS principles to implement IFRS requirements

Ensure timely and accurate performance of all activities in accordance with compliance, internal control, performance, and quality standards as defined in relevant service level agreements and company policies

Drive initiatives of process improvements in collaboration with Team Lead; ensure review of working procedures and flowcharts to be updated and in place

Act as interface between GL team and Support functions (tax, controlling) and Consolidation Centre of Competence, for exceptional process issues
