Senior BI & Reporting Specialist

As a member of our team for BI & Reporting within our AC organization, you work on challenging projects from all areas of the accounting and controlling community. Additionally, you are responsible for support and maintenance of a wide range of standard reporting applications, as well as act as project lead in new projects. Together with our IT department and our enterprise data & analytics team you are working on ways to help our business to drive maximum value from data and reporting solutions.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Contributing to the digital finance activities / projects with hands-on opportunity
• Supporting digital finance automatization as well as unifying and communicating more digital ways of processing financial datasets
• Carrying out ad-hoc data analysis
• Representing user needs to various stakeholders on respective project teams and beyond as well as identifying needs of different user groups in our finance community, and translating them into user journey maps as well as product requirements
• Helping the business to make truly data-driven decisions as well as participating in an inspiring team of reporting and data science experts within the global AC organization
• Develop advanced BI & Reporting solutions for our business and accounting and controlling community
• Act as project lead for new projects within our area of responsibility.
• Work in cross-organizational, multi-disciplinary teams supporting existing applications
• Collaborate with the business units to enhance our existing reporting applications
• Support all phases of the human-centered design process, from strategy and vision development to final product development
• Identify needs of different user groups in user research and translate them into our journey to improve usage of data
• Support our global projects to modernize our application landscape

What You Bring

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or related fields
• At least 5 years in experience in BI & Reporting topics.
• Experience in leading small and medium size projects in the area of BI & Reporting.
• Good analytical skills and expertise in BI & Reporting
• Skills and experience with SAP Analytics Cloud in defining stories
• Skills and experience within SQL coding is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and VBA as well as are familiar with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills, open-minded and willing to learn
• Ability to effectively collaborate in multidisciplinary, multinational, global teams
• You have excellent communication skills with a strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• You are structured and result-oriented
