ESH Internships

Offer support in : Occupational medicine, contractor management, chemical substances management, waste management, trainings, emergency situations, authorized activities, corrective and preventive action plan monitoring, operational control , maternity protection.

• Offer support in the approval process with authorities for all matters requiring permits
• Offer support in the process of monitoring compliance with current ESH legislation, with Vitesco's internal regulations and to provide expertise on how this legislation can be met
  Is responsible to insure continuous improvement of environment, occupational health and safety
• Establish, implement and maintain local Environment management system according to ISO14001, legal requirements, internal rules.
• Implement, maintain and develop Occupational H&S MS in accordance with the local legal requirements and internal regulations of the corporation.
• Perform analysis of ESH aspects in order to set ESH programs, objectives and targets.
• Define and monitor ESH programs, local ESH objectives and targets.
• Develop and maintain local standards in the field of Environmental and waste management.
• Be responsible to assess compliance with occupational health and safety as well as environmental protection standards and regulations when new techniques/equipment are introduced and to advise on how such standards and regulations can be met.
• Prepare specific ESH instructions according to environmental protection & labor safety and health regulations related to workplace characteristics.
• Monitor and update Corrective and preventive action plan CPAP.
• Participate in internal and external audits regarding Environmental and OH&S management systems.
• Follow the fulfillment of the measures disposed by the authorities (environment &work inspectors) on the occasion of their visits.
• Be responsible to organize and perform regular trainings for local staff and external contractors regarding the environmental protection and occupational safety and health
• Increase awareness of local staff with respect to their ESH related duties.
• Prepare technical documentation necessary for the purpose of informing and educating employees on environmental regulations and SSM trainings (training materials, tests).
• Offer support in the fulfilment of requirements placed upon the company's safety organization.
• Offer support in identification of emergencies and establish emergency response plans.
  Offer support in accident investigation and establishing root cause analysis.
• Offer support in communicating methods of raising employee awareness with the aim preventing accidents, work related illness, environmental damage and fire.

Your Talents:

• Fresh perspective being in a current enrollment in an accredited University, pursuing a degree in occupational safety and health, public health, economics, humanities & social sciences, communication & marketing, engineering, or other related sciences;

• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications;
• Very good English language skills written and spoken;
• Communication skills, active learning, analytical thinking, independent working, team spirit, flexibility regarding changing tasks.
