    Overview

    You should be comfortable working with different team members (Security, Operations, Help Desk, Architecture, end user computing) to collaborate and produce positive outcomes. Combination of Operations role and implementation of projects. Need someone to mature some platforms and decom/consolidate other platforms. We have a small team of 15 highly skilled level 2 and level 3 engineers on your team. Successful candidate would have previous management experience of remote international teams, ITIL experience. You would have owned and operated production security, operations, or IAM systems for medium to large enterprises.

    Role Purpose

    Individual responsibilities

    • The role involves support of a wide variety of support by implementing global management, reporting and monitoring tools that can be run and maintained with minimal effort. A secondary requirement of the role is to provide SME operational support as required.
    • The ideal candidate will have broad skills including solutions design, problem solving and resolution.

    Team responsibilities

    • The team proactively prevents and resolves issues that may affect services as well as responding to incidents.
    • Support is also provided to application teams and other infrastructure teams to bring together a set of complex components in a cohesive manner

    Main Responsibilities

    • Provide guidance on Microsoft technologies, primarily Windows 2012/2016/2022 OS, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, PKI.
    • Write and maintain appropriate documentation for manual and automated processes.
    • Take responsibility for engineering input into all related projects
    • Ability to mentor and explain issue / resolution to non technical people
    • Provide frequent status reports and maintain risks and issues for management.
    • Proactively identify operational risks and implement long-term resolution.
    • Ensure changes are correctly impact assessed and implemented.
    • Assist with project work as well as BAU tasks. Participate in regular DR tests.
    • Understand existing complex environment and navigate to a successful implementation of products
    • Assist with out of hours / weekend changes/Provide on call support via a rota.
    • Adhere to existing standards and processes.

    Desirable Skills

    • Quest toolset (RMAD / CAAD / ARS / Enterprise Reporter)
    • Microsoft & Azure Certification.
