We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our internal and international data team. As a Data Engineer, you will be part of the team building out our next generation of data infrastructure For Veeam's Machine Learning and Data Science capabilities. You will be responsible for helping to design, implement, and maintain our data infrastructure, pipelines, and data processes from end-to-end.
Your tasks will include:- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and transformation processes.
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
- Work closely with our internal Data, Architecture, and DevOps teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of data systems.
- Build and maintain data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, and look for opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Document data systems, data flow, and data processes.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database and data warehouse systems.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Kotlin, Python).
- Experience building and deploying data processes in a cloud environment.
- Understanding of best practices in designing ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing.
- Good written and oral English (B2 or higher)
- Experience with Kotlin, Python, or Java
- Experience with Databricks or Spark
- Experience with Azure
- Experience with Postgres or Vertica
- Experience with Salesforce data
- Experience building datasets for analytics and reporting tools
