- eAuction Expertise: A deep understanding of eAuction processes, including planning, execution, and evaluation of eAuction events.
- Proven ability as a people manager with experience of inspiring and motivating a team, developing high performers and addressing performance issues;
- Passionate about sourcing, negotiations, procurement process, tools and compliance;
- Excellent problem solving, relationship management, escalation management and influencing skills with a strong customer-service orientation;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
- Excellent analytical skills and mindset;
- Strong communication skills (English verbal and written) with the ability to influence and empower direct reports and key stakeholders;
- Hands on knowledge of sourcing tools such as Ariba, iValua etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.

- General Leadership: Provide overall leadership for the Sourcing function in regard to the following categories under supervision: IT & O&O & MDS within the Chain IQ Romania Delivery Centre. Keeping the Head Sourcing Romania fully informed in a timely and candid manner on day-to-day operations towards the achievement of established goals and of all material deviations from the goals or objectives and client contracts established
- Performance Monitoring: Monitoring client related performance and assessing client feedback to continuously enhance service delivery performance and to drive client satisfaction
- Monitor and ensure the fulfillment of performance indicators, SLAs, and other performance objectives, including cost efficiency and accuracy.
- Planning and Budgeting: Participate in establishing short-term and long-range planning and budget development to support the company's strategic business goals.
- Managing the headcount and overall budget of the department. This includes to determine ways to reduce costs with efficient and effective processes without sacrificing client satisfaction.
- Tactical and Operational Sourcing: Take overall responsibility for the Tactical and Operational sourcing management goals of the company. Develop and implement action plans to ensure that these goals are met.
- Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong and lasting relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to foster collaboration and drive procurement success.
- Business Needs Analysis: Partner with stakeholders, executive leaders, and department heads to thoroughly understand business needs. Then, establish clear requirements, scope, and criteria for procurement projects.
- Data Analysis: Collect and interpret procurement data, including cost analysis reporting, benchmarking spend, RFP data, and return on investment, to make informed decisions and drive efficiency.
- Workforce Management: Manage the workforce within the Sourcing team, ensuring tasks are allocated effectively and team members are supported in their roles.
- Proposal Analysis: Provide support in the analysis of proposals and develop recommendations to ensure optimal procurement outcomes.
- Negotiation: Engage in complex negotiations to secure transactions that result in optimal business results, specifications, compliance, and contractual terms.
- Purchasing Policies: Establish and enforce purchasing policies within the department to maintain compliance and ethical procurement practices.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance recurring business processes. Develop standard procedures and processes and identify and implement automation opportunities.
- Team Development: Take an active role in the development, mentoring, motivation, and orientation of staff within the Chain IQ Romania Delivery Centre.
- Staffing and Training: Oversee staffing, recruiting, training, and coaching of the Team Leads, including conducting performance reviews.
- Global Alignment: Ensure global alignment of the in-scope categories and sourcing strategies to achieve consistency and efficiency across regions.
- Capacity Management: Manage capacity within the Sourcing team to meet business demands and optimize resource allocation.
- Quality Management: Implement and oversee quality management practices to maintain high standards and accuracy in procurement processes.
- Coaching and Leadership: Provide guidance and coaching to team leads to enhance their leadership and procurement skills.
- Process Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities for process improvement and sourcing initiatives to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- eAuction Support: Play a crucial role in supporting the eAuction target, including planning, execution, and evaluation of eAuction events.
