    Overview:

    We are looking for an impactful Senior Associate, Communications to support our Operations function, a team of 12,000 colleagues located across 50 countries, driving the transformation of LSEG. Working with a range of colleagues and stakeholders, you'll contribute to planning and delivering engaging communication activities to help embed our culture and inspire change in Operations and across LSEG.

    To be successful in this role, you'll have experience working in a communications team and come with a collaborative approach, a can-do attitude, and a desire to learn.

    You'll be joining a hard-working team, committed to working in partnership to deliver excellence. This role sits in our Communications business partnering team and reports to the Group Director, Corporate Affairs & Marketing for Operations.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Work in partnership with your colleagues in the Operations comms team to deliver engaging communication to support business delivery
    • Team coordination and planning: play a crucial role in keeping the team to schedule and plan; ensure Operations comms are captured accurately in Group planners
    • Channels and content creation: produce content and help to deliver communication activities in different media formats such as events, email communications, intranet content and articles, slide presentations and videoCopywriting: draft, edit, and proof-read communications such as leader announcements, all colleague emails, intranet articles, social media posts and talking points for events and videos
    • Reporting and measurement: working with data to analyse opens, clicks, attendees, questions asked, types of comments, feedback surveys, etc. to shape our communications and make them even more impactful
    • Contribute ideas to communication projects and creative campaigns to support key initiatives, such as recognition, learning, engagement, diversity and inclusion
    • Collaborate with colleagues in Operations and Corporate Affairs & Marketing to ensure alignment with wider Group comms activities and plans
    • Look for opportunities to tell the Operations story to our audiences

    Required Skills:
    • Internal communications experience, ideally gained in a global organisation
    • Experience in delivering high quality communications through a variety of media, including written messages, video, slide presentations, infographics, intranet content, social media, etc.
    • Solid knowledge of web publishing, video production, mass email tools and MS Office 365 including SharePoint. Experience working with Poppulo, Canva and Viva Engage a plus
    • Familiarity with MS Excel, and ability to analyse data to measure and evaluate the success of communications, and to come up with recommendations to improve reach and impact
    • Strong attention to detail, planning and prioritisation skills - you can work across multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong writing skills
    • A creative, problem-solving mentality
    • Ability to build relationships with colleagues at all different levels in the organisation
    • An appetite for a fast-paced environment and able to navigate complexity
    • You are agile, collaborative, proactive and outcome-focused
