Service Manager - Cloud & Platform services

You analyze, create and implement sophisticated public cloud-based solution designs according to customer requirements in close alignment with the system integrator, considering current security guidelines. You will be responsible for Service Management including integration with backend systems, ServiceNow, and other interfaces. You will also be responsible for service cost, to deliver the best cloud infrastructure at most optimal cost.

• Decide on suitable strategies and technology framework in cloud computing and automation.
• Provide architectural leadership and standard processes.
• You work very closely with the specialist teams and central IT units to integrate the specific solutions into the corporate context.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, internal IT departments and system integrator providing updates on customer progress and ensuring execution by partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define the internal infrastructure road map for hosted systems.
• Implementation and development of vital ITIL processes e.g. Incident Management to manage the services.
• Be end-to-end responsible for projects and services.
• Ensure critical applications are designed and optimized for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert to the organization for cloud end-to-end architecture, including, Azure, GCP and future providers, networking, provisioning and management.
• Responsible for organization's cloud computing infrastructure and costs. Get maximum business value by managing cloud infrastructure costs, optimizing spend delivering the best infrastructure at reasonable cost.
• Responsible for development and continuous improvement of service requests, incident management, customer satisfaction (CSAT) and collaborating with service providers.
• Be the primary lead for platforms ??? Web, Database, Terminal Server and Managed Servers.
• You will also be responsible for FinOps, to deliver the best cloud infrastructure at most optimal cost.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related subject.
• 5 or more years experience in designing and operating secure multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments, for managed filespace, servers and platforms.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (VPCs, projects, firewalls, orchestration, elastic scalability, inter-cloud connectivity, security, HA/ DR, etc.).
• You have expertise in metrics and analytics & can run/ manage resources optimally.
• You have high affinity to modern IT infrastructure and knowledge of the essential, current technological trends in IT.
• Excellent social skills, communication, and presentation skills and discuss complex technical information in concise and understandable fashion to the leadership team.
• Proven architecture and service management skills according to ITIL practices.
• Technical certification e.g. GCP Professional Cloud Architect or AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Fundamentals.
• Proven project management and delivery experience across multiple countries, locations.
• 20% travel including international should be expected.
• Language skills, English is required.

• Hands-on experience with web services across IIS/ Apache platforms & application servers like Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, etc.
• Hands-on experience with administration and operations of Windows/ Linux (RHEL) servers
• Foundational knowledge of Identity Management technologies.
• Familiarity and experience in supporting servers/ services hosted in Extranet (DMZ), firewall modification, Reverse-Proxy service and Application Resource Islands.
• Experience in supporting web and database servers/ services in Managed Public Cloud environments; Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker.
• Experience with web farms, web clustering, certificate renewals, and Network load balancer
• Experience with FTP and Secure FTP environments.
• Ability to interface and support connectivity into DBMS - MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, Progress
• Experience in installing, configuring and enabling SSH service in Linux.
• Knowledge of File shares and Managed Folders, DFS, Active Directory, SMTP, DNS, VLANs.
