Working Student – SPOT Procurement

A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Working Student you will provide assistance for the SPOT Team (Special Projects, Operations, Transformation) from the Strategic Procurement business unit.
How You'll Make an Impact

• Support the preparation of Special Projects and Transformation activities in Siemens Energy's corporate procurement
• Directly collaborate with project managers for special projects and in-house consultants to carry out various tasks related to commodity management, such as data analysis and reporting
• Provide assistance to the strategic procurement organization for Direct Material. This includes conducting market research, analyzing procurement trends, and developing strategic recommendations
• Participate in the continuous improvement of procurement processes and practices.
• Cross functional communication and collaboration with various Procurement departments

What You Bring

• Current studies, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Economics (Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics, Finance) or Business Administration
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good knowledge and interest in procurement
• Advanced MS Office Tools knowledge (Microsoft Excel and Power Point)
• Strong communication skills in English
• Work independently and proactive/self-initiative
