    Role description

    The Change and Communications Lead supports the successful execution of change management initiatives and communications plans in alignment with the strategic priorities of the Security, Safety & Fraud Department at Booking.com.

    This position will focus on the people-side of change, including how change impacts people and teams. This role relies on a solid understanding of how people go through change. Experience preparing, supporting, and equipping people to adopt changes is key.

    In doing so, this role will anticipate and manage potential change impacts related to operating models, business processes, culture, behavior & skills and new ways of working. Over time, they will use their capabilities across multiple projects and simultaneous workstreams to enable successful adoption, scalability and value realization of change initiatives.



    Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

    • Using Change Management interventions (such as communications, learning managing change agent networks and stakeholder engagement etc.) to anticipate, plan and manage potential change impacts of Programs.
    • Individually and collaboratively designing, developing & rolling out multiple change initiatives, including material creation, stakeholder engagement, and change administration
    • Identifying and managing communication & engagement with key stakeholders and audiences to address change impacts, explain the change journey and realize the value of the case for change
    • Engaging and influencing stakeholders and working collaboratively to drive strategic initiatives

    Role Qualifications and Requirements

    • Background of developing and implementing new ideas and improvements for change management practices and activities
    • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships (both within a team and across functions)
    • Ability to effectively communicate in medium and large groups; Strong influencer in 1:1, multiple stakeholders and audiences
    • Active listening and adaptability to the interlocutor's communication style
    • Solid business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
    • Being well-organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
    • Experience with large-scale organizational and/or cultural change efforts is an advantage
    • Knowledge of similar industries and/or business projects is an advantage
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Advanced English knowledge
