    Cerinte

    Must-haves

    Masters in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
    At least 10 years’ experience in a procurement role in steel or another heavy industrial environment
    Extensive experience with project and process documentation
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and SAP – notably purchase to pay modules
    Effective communication skills, written and verbal
    Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    Fluency in English with Romanian being an advantage

    It’s a plus if you have the following

    Demonstrated success in managing teams
    Ability to work with and/or lead people and teams to achieve positive results
    Good benchmarking skills
    Conflict resolution skills

    Responsabilitati

    Main tasks

    Organization:

    Develop lean and agile organization
    Promote Productivity and Performance driven culture
    Provide leadership to the procurement team to ensure the development of a working environment that is conducive to the achievement of KPIs and that employees achieve their full potential by gaining new skills through the provision of effective mentoring and training programs
    Develop and maintain a departmental structure that adheres to company’s policies, enables teamwork and personal development while focusing on the achievement of results.
    Ensure training and coaching is provided to all department employees, with specific attention to employees as part of the Company’s Training.
    Create Trained work force- Negotiations, Compliance, Processes and Use of IT tools, Cybersecurity, compliance
    Ensure all members of the department have clearly defined accountabilities and roles and that individual development plans are in place to enable goals to be achieved.
    Ensure all members of the department receive feedback on their performance and participate in formal GEDP and performance review processes.

    Operational procurement:

    Implement sourcing strategies aligned with segment approach
    PR to PO conversion – Cycle time improvement and bring in line with segment targets
    PO to Invoice- Automation and remove web cycles working closely with Finance
    Help develop team to negotiate spot orders and even involve herself/himself on high value negotiations. Escalate to the site CEO/segment purchasing as required.
    Intensive and innovative industry/supply market and category research, intelligence, analysis and triangulation
    Detailed, comprehensive, product and supplier cost models with appropriate and customized local pricing strategy intelligence
    Delivery and tracking of sourcing benefit value, including continuous improvement
    Drive strong compliance and internal controls. Align SCM activities in line with corporate requirements
    Aim for supplier cost management with emphasis on P2P
    Conduct in-depth, systemic, and routine analysis on all Supply Chain KPI’s including, purchase requisition status, purchase order throughout the procurement cycle, inbound orders, indents and transit schedules, GR/IR account status and monitoring, query resolution, payable and advances analysis, progressive improvement, and compliance checks
    Manage Capex procurement with site/.segment/AMCG practices
    Material Master/Vendor Master and SAP management
    Manage Logistics contracts and help site logistics team in arranging the cost effective transportation for finished goods. Manage on cargo planning /transporean or any other digitized tool
    Oversee the operation of warehouses to serve the site in the least coast way

    Supplier Management:

    Develop Vendor Management practices aligned with the segment
    Prepare risk profiles and create due diligence exercise and prepare plans to mitigate
    Ensure responsible sourcing in the contracting
    Manage and communicate with all Interfaces:

    Manage communication and exchanges with Internal customers, suppliers, Site and segment leadership, colleagues for different mills, EPO, Finance

    Digitalization objectives:

    Implement and use the IT tools to digitize the procurement process
    Spend analytics from SAP developed in excel/ access, savings tracking, periodic reporting
    SAP front end -Ariba Development in line with segment priorities
    E Catalogs/contract management
    Mapping all processes on IT for automation as much as possible
    Help train user function for all the interfaces related to MM module and IT links

    Continuous improvement objectives:

    Undertake continuous improvement programs and initiatives to achieve and improve plant performance by diligent monitoring of trends, variables and resources
    Investigate, assess and where appropriate, trial new technology, keeping abreast of industry developments.
    Implement Innovative materials management practices- JIT, Consignment and others

    Health and Safety objectives:

    Provide leadership necessary to ensure that employees and any contractors adhere to safety and environmental standards that meet or exceed industry standards and any applicable legislation.
    Prepare contract audits and ensure consequence management in the contracts
    Develop action plans with subcontractors along with site Safety/operations people
    Negotiate contracts with H&Safety KPI included and rated in the contracts
    Housekeeping of warehouses and flow improvements
    Subcontractor’s health and safety management programs in line with segment/site priorities

    Financial and other targets:

    Help achieve Value creation with defined actions
    Help financial teams achieve quarterly cash targets with suppliers communication and payment terms and inventory reviews
    Review consumptions norms and provide for right ordering with support of operations and maintenance departments
    Strong compliance culture propagation – Internal & external
    Develop KPI reporting
