SENIOR SOFTWARE / SYSTEM TEST ENGINEER TIMISOARA

- 3 to 5 years experience in testing (preferable software testing of automotive electronics components);
- Advanced knowledge of software testing methods, techniques and test equipment;
- Proficiency in CAN, CAN Tools (CANalyser, CANape, CANdela), CAPL scripts, LabView, TestStand , and automotive diagnostics;
- Solid understanding of microprocessor basics / peripherals;
- Experience with electrical instrumentation (oscilloscopes, multimeters, waveform generators, etc)
- Experience with TFT instrument clusters or Multimedia ECUs will be a advantage;
- Proficiency in system engineering process for Automotive electronics;
- Basic understanding of related design disciplines;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Good presentation preparation and delivery skills;
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks and pressure;
- Fluent in English.

As a Senior Software / System Test Engineer you will be involved in a variety of different types of system and component level testing which may include: instrument clusters, seat modules, body controllers, battery switch, HMI interfaces and your responsibility will be:

- Analyze software, system and /or customer requirements and develop test plans and test cases based on them;
- Perform test, report and track the defects;
- Participate in quotation activities for the new projects;
- Perform analysis for customer reported issues;
- Propose and / or implement new testing tools, environments and methodologies;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of test processes;
- Participate to the project management of large projects by planning and estimating work packages and/or complete management of small projects;
- Take decisions and assume risks when it is necessary;
- Mentoring for junior tester engineers.
