    This role enables Capital Markets Technology Division to understand and respond to regulatory, audit and 2nd line requirements in timely and effective manner:

    Key Responsbilities:

    • Plan risk assessment and controls assessment to front run upcoming / required outputs, and support effective management of risk in technolog
    • Support the operationalisation of Risk Management into existing Technology processes
    • Contribute data to performance and risk metrics embedded into existing reporting mechanisms, for leadership teams, Exec Risk Committees, board etc.
    • Perform, review and conduct assurance on IT risks & control assessments.
    • Perform assurance testing on Audit and Self Identified Issues and actions to ensure remediation is complete, fully evidenced and addresses the issue raised.
    • Ability to write and distinguish between risks, controls, process, issues and actions
    • Help to facilitate updates/refreshes the overall Division Risk Appetite with the Divisional Technology Risk Officers
    • Understanding the impact of any policy/regulatory changes in LSEG and ensuring any gaps have remediation plans identified and agreed
    • Ad hoc projects and initiatives
    • GRC tool management and training
    • Thematic analysis of risk exposure

    Skills:

    • Previous IT Audit, 2nd line Technology Risk or 1st line technology risk assurance expertise in financial services
    • Knowledge to provide guidance to support Technology teams in controls over SDLC, , agile, tooling, architecture, disaster recovery, operational resilience, IT asset management, incident and problem management, IT third party risk management, program/project management, infrastructure practices.
    • Ability to write and distinguish between risks, controls, process, issues and actions
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Good presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Self-motivated and target-driven to meet deadlines
    • Negotiation and team skills
    • Stakeholder management skills
    • Qualifications: CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CDPSE, CCSK or similar

    Critical deliverables:

    • Support divisional CIO's and their teams to move the risk culture of 1st line to be stronger, proactive and with increased capacity to provide timely and quality input to COO Tech, 2nd and 3rd line
    • Support in the reporting of KRIs (key risk indicators) and KCIs (key control indicators) timely to support various reporting Committees
    • Assist in control testing including obtaining evidence and challenging information provided to support the control design and operating effectiveness
    • Management of self-identified, 2nd line identified and audit issues including providing progress updates that are clear and sufficiently detailed each month
    • Documenting and tracking risk acceptances with support from COO Technology.
    • Performance of annual Risk Control Self Assessment process
    • Update and maintain divisional risk registers in GRC tool
    • Advise 1LoD technology teams on risk matters impacting the strategic objectives of the business and providing challenge from a semi-independent viewpoint within 1LoD
    • Work with the Divisional Risk & Control Officer in completing the corporate certification
