    Requirements

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer
    Science or other related field, or equivalent work experience
    • 2+ year of working in a global LAN/WAN support environment with pre-dominantly Cisco
    hardware within a diverse environment with multiple regions/sites.
    • Professional network qualifications (Cisco, Checkpoint for example)
    • Can demonstrate strong skills and experience with Cisco technology
    • Strong understanding of networking technologies in general
    • Solid background in ITIL or similar process oriented framework -preferred
    • Demonstrates examples of successful teamwork - preferable.
    • Cisco CCNA certification - preferred
    • Checkpoint CCSA certification - preferred
    • ITIL v3 foundations certification - preferred
    • Excellent communication skills both written and oral in English.
    Non technical skills:
    • Incident management experience in a large scale, high availability organization
    • Strong communication skills, pro-active with strong judgment
    Capability to work independently with minimal supervision, results driven
    • Capable of managing multiple activities with competing priorities
    • Ability to learn quickly and adapt into a fast moving network operations environment
    • Demonstrates experience in executing operational tasks and troubleshooting in most
    components of the technology structure.
    • Demonstrates a pro-active approach and effective learning capacity

    Responsibilities

    One of our clients, Cargill, is an international producer and marketer of food, agricultural, financial and
    industrial products and services. They are currently expanding their IT Department with a Network
    Analyst, for their offices all around the world. You will be part of an international team, as well as a
    team that is already providing global IT services from Romania.
    You will be responsible for providing technical support for Cargill's global network environment,
    ensuring 24/7 availability. Responsibilities relate to day-to-day network support, including incident,
    work requests, problem management and emergency change management. Work in a diverse and
    remote team under general supervision. Technologies include VOIP, WAN, LAN, Proxy Servers, DNS,
    Firewalls and Remote Access services.
    Other responsibilities:
    • Provide 2nd line support (incident and request management) for all GN to Cargill business units
    globally, in coordination with the other Global Network teams. Includes being a member of the
    follow-the-sun on call support team rotation.
    • Change management of principal KLO Projects for the EMEA region. Working close with the GN
    Engineering team for implementations in Cargill; Ensuring all new GN services are in line with
    GN support environment, reviewing the handover documentation for new implementations.
    • Actively participate and promote GN process, including change control, incident management,
    configuration management and network documentation.
    • Participate in quarterly self audit reviews to ensure the environment will be meeting security
    and compliance policies.
    • Pro-actively looks for opportunities to improve efficiency in the Global Network team and seek challenges for self development.
