Knowledge & Skills required
• University degree in business administration, finance or equivalent experience required.
• Fluent in English, any additional language is an asset but not a requirement.
• Typically 2+ years of previous experience in accounting or financial analysis
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Preferred working knowledge of financial & business application tools (SAP, Compass, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
• Superior teamwork skills
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Preferred international business exposure, working in a multi-cultural environment and global organizations.

Key Responsibilities
• Controls & manages end to end financial processes focusing on complex processes in support of Finance and Account teams, including although not limited to performing P&L & Balance Sheet reconciliation in support of month end close & forecasting cycles
• Provides financial information, reporting & analysis to Finance team
• Understands & applies Accounting Policies and Procedures as well as relevant Business Processes
• Ensures timeliness of processing activities to meet deadlines including accounting closes & forecasting deadlines
• Ensures quality transactions can be processed, maximizing the use of COMPASS system to limit manual journal entries
• Acts as an advisor & consultant to the Finance team on complex cost/expense financial processes, progress & issues, providing early visibility of potential problems
• Assists Finance team with Audit Readiness and SOX Compliance activities
• Provides Business Decision Support & all relevant financial information to Finance to enable appropriate business decisions to be made
• Responsible for monthly accrual/deferral calculations for his/her area of expertise in close cooperation with Finance team.

Job Description
The Complex Process Financial Analyst (CPFA) will provide financial information, reporting & analysis to Account Finance Team (AFT) teams managing accuracy & compliancy of specific complex financial transactions across account teams in EMEA. The CPFA will provide both a dedicated account and leveraged account model of support.
