    Requirements

    University Degree- Polytechnic , Construction
    At least two years of full-time experience in building maintenance and supervision of teams.
    Ability to:
    • Read and understand construction drawings, plans and specifications;
    • Operate office equipment including computers and supporting word processing, spreadsheet, and technical applications;
    • Organize, implement and direct facility maintenance operations and activities;
    • Supervise, train and evaluate facility mainenance staff;
    • Develop cost estimates for supplies and equipment;
    • Controlling work through periodic reviews and/or evaluations;

    Knowledge of:
    • Operations, services, and activities of a building maintenance, repair, and construction program;
    • Materials, methods, terminology, equipment and tools used in the maintenance, repair and construction of building structures and systems including those used in performing rough and finished carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical, mechanical, and painting work;
    • BMS operation and functioning principles;
    • Equipment, tools and materials used in facility maintenance activities;
    • Construction and project management principles;
    • Principles and practices of safety management;
    • Working knowledge of standard preventative maintenance procedures.



    Responsibilities

    • Supervise maintenance personnel and the work performed by external contractors;
    • Schedules, assigns and supervises cleaning functions of all buildings;
    • Make quality control inspection tours to ensure that buildings are properly secured and that the standards of safety, sanitation and cleanliness are properly maintained;
    • Act as a liaison to PM staff, external personnel and contractors engaged in activities related to buildings;
    • Perform related duties such as supervising supplies and equipment use, maintaining paper and electronic records and preparing reports;
    • Provide support for Property Manager during daily activities in the buildings;
    • Supervise the coordination of repair works and revisions of the buildings’ equipment.
    • Participate in the implementation of approved policies and procedures; monitor work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures;
    • Ensure an acurate preventive maintenance plan is put in place by FM contractor and ensure all activities are carried out in a professional manner and on schedule;
    • Assist in utilities consumption calculation and allocation per tenant;
    • Assist the the Property Manager in meetings with tenants or the Client, if required;
    • Ensure assesment of premises before take- over and hand- over protocols;
    • Summarize the results of equipment revisions;
    • Prepare Case Studies for repairs and improvement proposals;
    • Assist in the preparation of various contracts, requests for proposals, reports and other related documentation;
    • Be available to address emergency maintenance issues; assist maintenance staff and property management with operational and maintenance problems during emergencies;
    • Conduct regular, proactive inspections of all buildings to identify routine and project work, and keep buildings in top condition.
    • Supervise the daily activities of the technical maintenance team;
    • Ensure the general constructor warranty tracking is performed accordingly;
    • Ensure the level of the technical maintenance services delivered in the building is according to the Client requirements;
    • Ensure that all tenants respect their contractual obligations, in connection with their activity in the buildings;
    • Perform other related duties as required
