Purchasing Project Manager

Profile :

• Higher education completed (bachelor's / master's degree).


• Minimum 3-5 years of management experience (managing commercial teams).


• Experience in a multicultural/international environment.


• Experience in project management can be an advantage.


• English language - advanced level.


• Good PC operating skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and experience in reporting the results to the top management.


• Real coordination and leadership skills.


• Business orientation, analytical capacity and long-term vision.


• Very good communication skills and proactive attitude.


• Integrity, adaptability, initiative, involvement and a desire for continuous development.

 Objective :

 Coordinates and is responsible for all the results&performance of the purchasing activity for the WOW stores retail project, ensuring the project management in accordance with the company's strategy and its values.

Location of the job : The position can be based in Iasi, Brasov or Bucharest.

Responsabilities :

• Plans, organizes, monitors and finalizes the projects in which it is involved (commercial-retail projects).


• Collaborates with purchasing managers from different locations (Iasi, Brasov, Sofia, etc.) to increase the purchasing volumes of their purchasing teams.


• Monitorize the performances & purchasing KPI’s for each location and propose action plans together with the management.


• Collaborates with the national sales director in order to improve the strategy of developing the volumes of the WOW retail chain stores in Romania.


• Ensure that the purchasing teams have the necessary resources to achieve positive results.


• Follow up the on-going offers and involves for


• Collaborates with the marketing department from Romania&France in order to improve the improve the bidding and procurement processes.


• Participates in recruitment processes in order to increase the structure of purchasing teams.


• Manages the operational and the project risks.


• Optimizes and controls costs.


• Report the results of the purchasings for WOW retail project to the top management.
