- Previous experience in a customer facing environment/ account management/ sales support would be a definite plus
- Previous experience in the Information Technology (or related) industry is a plus
- Good knowledge of any other language is a plus
- Recruit Reference Customers for the company meeting a specific criteria
- Consolidate from various sources the lead list of customers/contacts
- Be an "Expert" in a specific focus area eg. Product Line, Industry Vertical, etc
- Collate the required details about the Customer/contact from various sources within the company eg. Account Management, Sales, Product Development, Marketing etc.
- Use communication media like eMail & Phone extensively in contacting the right person at the customer end, and within the company as well.
- Be a language expert in one of the major global languages and hence do the recruitment for a country or cluster of countries that speak that language (in addition to English)
- Recruit Customers to be a Reference for the company for a specific product(s), and their willingness to be part of the Sales/Marketing activities (eg. Reference one-one call with prospects, Site Visit, collateral/content development, Web based forums, speaking engagements, analyst engagements, marketing campaigns, etc etc)
- Help put together brief pieces of collateral/content pertaining to the customer
- Update/maintain the details in our internal systems and be responsible for Data accuracy
- Help fulfill requests for Reference Customers from Sales & Marketing
- Service requests for References from Sales, based on various criteria like Product(s), Industry vertical, Country/Region, Themes, Business Processes, etc, using the standard processes/policies/tools, etc.
- Search for Customers/References in various internal sources for the right match
- Educate/Train people within the company on the standard model/processes/tools, etc
- Work closely with the in-country reference managers on specific opportunities
