For this job we are searching for professionals that meet the following criteria:

* Education in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent; (B.S. or M.S. degree is a plus)
* Solid foundation in development process, algorithms, best practices and design patterns
* Good knowledge of code-versioning tools and practices
* Strong knowledge of code-editors, debuggers, profilers and other tools for the technologies he owns
* Good knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one DBMS is a plus
* Able to develop for and deploy on Linux OS, configuration and administration skills are a plus
* Experience with distributed computing, and in particular with Hadoop and derived products, is considered a big plus
* Experience with Web Services and SOAs (REST, SOAP) is considered a plus
* Effective communication with the local and remote team members
* You must be enthusiastic, creative and have the desire to innovate
* You must be able to quickly learn new things and technologies
* Advanced English knowledge skills

As Computer Scientist, you will work with a team of talented developers and quality engineers within the Adobe SaaS Infrastructure Team. You have to be very knowledgeable in scalable web architectures, distributed systems and patterns for infrastructure services. You will be responsible for taking specific product features through entire life cycle, from requirement analysis to delivery, meeting the reliability, performance and quality targets required in our company.

As a member of our team, you will

* Design & implement features, required APIs, test suites or technology according to specifications
* Interact with the quality engineers, to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards
* Perform research on various technologies useful for the project
* Dive into massive open-source codebases such as Apache Hadoop or HBase, identify bugs/issues and submit patches at the necessary quality level;
* Provide status and feedback to management;
