Technical knowledge:
B.S or M.S. degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of working experience building large scale web applications and web services
Strong technical background with Microsoft .NET Development Platform (ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, WCF, SOAP)
Experience in web-related client side technologies (JavaScript/ AJAX, HTML, CSS)
Sound knowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or newer
Experience in architecting, designing, developing, deploying and maintaining large, high availability and rich content web applications and web services
Very good abilities to analyze, profile and optimize code for performance and memory usage
Strong debugging and bug-fixing skills
Excellent knowledge of design patterns
Expertise in data structures and algorithms

Nice to have:

Experience in using and maintaining Microsoft IIS
Experience with VB.NET
Familiar with at least one scripting language (PERL, Python)
Knowledge of another DBMS is a plus
Experience with agile development methodologies

Work independently and own multiple features of the product
Transform requirements into architectural and feature specs
Design & implement features, required APIs, test suites or technology according to specifications, while keeping a strong customer focus
Collaborate with quality engineers, to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards
Perform research on various technologies useful for the project
Provide status and feedback to management
