Keys to Hiring

3+ years experience in web application development with PHP and MySQL (mostly backend development)
Good knowledge of Object Oriented programming;
Experience with PHP frameworks like Yii/Yii2, Zend, Symfony, Laravel;
BS in Computer Science or a related field of study;
Up to date with the newest technologies related to web application development;
Fast learner: be able to understand the full application and the way it interacts via API with the other systems;
Write all clean object-oriented PHP, well-designed code as well as efficient SQL queries.



Nice to have:

Experience in caching objects, knowledge of key-value NoSQL databases, unit testing;
Previous experience in developing and integrating with third-party REST APIs;
Previous experience with Amazon Web Services.

Your Role

Understand web application scalability and performance;
Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core API and database to ensure strong optimization and functionality;
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle (DTAP);
Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges;
The capacity to understand accessibility and security compliance;
Own and drive development, testing and delivery of best quality features in a cross functional environment; understand business needs and push great software to production.
