Java developer

- Knowledge of Java, J2EE- Servlets/JSP, JPA, JDBC, REST
- Knowledge of Application servers (eq. Tomcat, WebSphere Application Server, JBoss, etc)
- Experience with IDEs (Eclipse is a plus)
- Knowledge of RDBMS concepts and SQL syntax OR NoSQL databases
- Should have good communication skills
- Should be able to follow coding guidelines and standards
- Good command in English (both written and spoken)

Nice to have:
- Basic knowledge on JavaScript, HTML, CSS is a plus
- Basic knowledge on build frameworks (eg. Maven, Ant)
- Basic knowledge on versioning control systems (eg. GIT, SVN)

- Work with a local/global team, both front end and back end engineers
- Responsibilities include the development of new functionalities, updating existing functionalities for Java-based applications
- Troubleshoot coding errors and clean up Java applications
