QA Engineer - automation testing

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with different types of testing (system integration, regression, functional, unit, performance, etc.) and an ability to plan/execute accordingly
• Experience writing test cases from functional specs
• Experience with Selenium or similar automation testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of documenting defects and tracking issue resolution
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills


Personal Skills & Academic Requirements

• Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
• Must possess a disciplined approach and commitment to delivering on Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
• Strong analytical approach to problem solving and solution development
• Implementation and support experience is highly preferred
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field is preferred
• Ability to effectively work in a team where other team members may be located throughout the world
• Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results
• Friendly attitude, strong communication and relationship building skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to travel

Four our partner, a leading global supplier of products and services to the world’s manufacturers and servicers of vehicles and equipment in the automotive, light, medium and heavy-duty commercial, marine, rail, aerospace, power generation and industrial markets we are looking for a talented, passionate QA Engineer - automation testing to join our software development team in Bucharest office.

This position will have a significant impact on their digital presence as well as in our continuous pursuit of being up to date with the latest trends, features and technologies.
You will work collaboratively with our global marketing team, design technologists, product owners, business analysts and UX designers, in developing an awesome customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Test developments from 3 development teams across the globe
• Collaborate with other technical team members to quickly troubleshoot and resolve any critical issues
• Stay in-tune with the latest technologies; proactively identify areas for improvement and propose viable solutions
• Determining the operational environment for new applications / solutions
• Contributing to the development of and aligning to the IT corporate standards
