- Good verbal and written communication skills in English. French is a plus
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Experience with XML and/or HTML
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, virtual environment
- Self-starting and self-motivated with a high level of initiative
- High level of ownership and accountability


Nice to have:

- Knowledge in SQL and SOAP Web Services
- Experience with scripting languages and Java
- Previous Technical Support experience
- Experience in EDI and related standards EDIFACT, X12, SWIFT

The Software Technical Consultant will design, implement and maintain message structures (Business Documents) that you can use to create maps and flows as part of our Standards Libraries.
This will help accelerate the definition of message processing flows for various industry standards and business applications. He may work on solutions that span business-to-business integration, managed file transfer, operational intelligence and identity management.

Main responsibilities as a Software Technical Consultant are:

- Work with little or no supervision to provide new versions of standards collections
- Create and update messages structure and flows based on changes in new standards versions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing standards implementation
- Maintain current working knowledge of Axway products and technology
- Update existing samples of business documents, maps and flows
- Stay up to date to latest changes in industry standards
